Ralph Munn Creative Writing Contest

Congratulations to this year's winners!

As the director of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh from 1928 to 1964, Ralph Munn demonstrated his support of young adults by creating a young adult reading room and, upon his death in 1975, providing an endowment to support creative writing opportunities for young adults through the library's services.

Now, we use this endowment to provide the Ralph Munn Creative Writing Contest!

This year we received almost 300 submissions coming from 55 different schools in the county and chose 56 pieces to be published in this year's anthology.
