  • bike MS: Escape to the Lake
    Early June. A one-way bike tour which runs for two-days over 150-miles of scenic back roads from Pittsburgh to Lake Erie. The tour is geared for riders of all ages and abilities. Benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Allegheny District Chapter.

  • Tour De Cure: Harmony PA
    June. The Tour de Cure benefits the American Diabetes Association. This is the national site with information on the Harmony Tour. Start/Finish Senaca Valley High School with distances for all abilities.
  • Rail-to-Trails Conservancy's Greenway Sojourn
    June 23-27, 2013: A supported bicycle tour of 250 riders along the Great Allegheny Passage from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, Md., for the 11th annual Greenway Sojourn bicycle tour.
  • Keystone Country Ride
    July: Altoona, Pennsylvania
    A one-way bike tour which runs for two-days over 150-miles of scenic back roads. The tour is geared for riders of all ages and abilities. Benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Allegheny District Chapter.
  • Mon Valley Century Bicycle Run
    August: 30, 50, 70, 100 mile rides that starts & ends in Elizabeth, PA. Sponsored by Monessen Amateur Radio Club (MARC)
  • Pedal Pittsburgh
    August: A fun, educational bicycle tour of the neighborhoods and design landmarks that make Pittsburgh unique. There are 15, 25, 35, 50, and 60 mile courses for all types of riders. Beginning 2012 in August and sponsored by Bike Pgh.
  • That Dam Ride
    September: An overnight bicycle ride from Boston, PA or Connellsville to Confluence with camping included at the Youghiogheny River Dam Corps of Engineers Campground. (Don't want to camp? Check the B&B and other options.) The Ride follows the packed limestone Youghiogheny River Trail which is part of the Great Allegheny Passage, the Cumberland to Pittsburgh Trail. Travel at your own pace adjacent to the beautiful river valley, through small towns, historic sites and stretches of unpopulated wooded areas.


  • Altoona Railbender and Fun Ride
    Two rides replacing the Tour de 'Toona. The Railbender is a Gran-Fondo style ride with a 43 mile fully-supported course. The Altoona Fun Ride is a 14 mile recreational ride for those looking to get out on traffic-free roadways in the Juniata Valley.
