It Isn't Easy Being Green

Recommended for grades K-2

What does it really mean to “Go Green?”  In this environmentally friendly program, students will learn about recycling, as well as reducing consumption and reusing everyday materials.  Get ready to save the planet through stories, informational texts, and a hands-on activity.

What do you do when there’s too much trash?  Students will learn about a different side of recycling and environmentally friendly practices in this interactive program about artists who use recycled materials as their medium.  Stories and informational texts will be explored, followed up with a hands-on activity.
