Web Sites

  • Fastweb

  • FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid can now be completed entirely online. All students wanting financial aid for college, even from sources other than the federal government, will need to fill out this form. There are a few supporting documents needed to complete it, such as tax records, so be sure to click on Before Beginning a FAFSA first.
  • FinAid
FinAid is published by the makers of FastWeb. It's a thorough, free resource that can answer nearly any question a student might have about loans, scholarships, tuition savings plans, and other forms of aid. And if you can't find what you're looking for on their site, you can contact them directly.
  • FinAid's explanation of Public Service Loan Forgiveness
Have you heard the rumor that people working in certain qualifying industries will have their loans forgiven in ten years? It's true, but it's not necessarily as easy as you think. Find out exactly what you have to do to be one of them.
