  • Bethel Bakery
    A Bethel Park bakery that lets you submit an order for pickup online. Unfortunately they do not ship.
  • Bubba's Nut Rolls
    a small, family-owned business in New Alexandria (east of Pittsburgh) that specializes in homemade nut, apricot, poppyseed, and pumpkin rolls, collectively referred to as BubbaRolls.
  • Crested Duck Charcuterie
    An artisanal meat market in Beechview and in the Pittsburgh Public Market in the Strip District.
  • DeLallo's
    What Pittsburgher isn't familiar with DeLallo Italian products in the grocery store? This Italian food wholesaler and retailer (with a store in Jeanette) now has an online store where you can purchase gift baskets and kitchenware (perhaps you need a cavatelli maker?).
  • Farmers' Market Cooperative of East Liberty
    The Farmers' Market Cooperative of East Liberty is a permanent, indoor farmers' market open every Saturday year-round, from 5 am to 12 noon.
  • Enrico Biscotti Company
    If you walk through the Strip District on a Saturday morning, you will undoubtedly smell their wares. This was the source for the Pittsburgh movie "The Bread My Sweet".
  • Isaly's
    Here's a real landmark fixture in Western Pennsylvania. Maker of ice cream (the originator of the Klondike bar) and chipped chopped ham.
  • Moio's
    An Italian pastry shop in Monroeville (of all places). Their carrot cake and cheesecake are hard to beat. And their pastries! Cannoli, Pasticciotti, Sfogliatelle, Almond Macaroon Tart... Pick up some pignoli cookies for your wedding.
  • Nema Halal
    NEMA Food company is located in McKeesport, southeast of Pittsburgh, and provides halal (ritually slaughtered) meats for the Muslim community. They offer luncheon meats as well as fresh meat and poultry.
  • Parma Sausage
    Located in the Strip District and in operation since 1954, Parma Sausage offers fresh sausages, cooked sausages, and dry-cured sausages, Prosciutto, Pancetta, all made according to family recipes handed down through generations.
  • Pennsylvania Macaroni Company (Penn Mac)
    If you're down in the Strip District (Pittsburgh's wholesale produce area) make sure you stop here for a great selection of cheeses, bread from the Breadworks and Italian food products.
  • Penzeys Spices
    This catalog order store from Brookfield, Wisconsin, has a location in Pittsburgh on Penn Avenue in the Strip District. This is the place to go for that hard-to-find spice (Spanish smoked paprika and wonderful Vietnamese cinnamon) and real (not artificial) extracts (almond, orange, lemon, and vanilla).

    Located in the Northside building where Clark Candy Company started, Priory Fine Pastries offers Neujahrspretzel for New Year's, Paczkis and King Cakes for Mardi Gras, as well as cupcakes, cakes, pies, cookies, breads and pastries.
  • Sarris Candies
    A Canonsburg, PA landmark, Sarris Chocolate Factory and Ice Cream also has an online store for their famous chocolates. You could send chocolate-covered pretzels to friends and relatives for Christmas!
  • Silver Star Meats
    A McKees Rocks manufacturer of hot dogs, sausages, and other pork products.
  • Stamoolis Brothers
    A Greek food store in the Strip District. I think you can even get Ouzon there.
  • Wholey's Fish Market
    The Strip District landmark in fresh fish has set up store on the web with Yahoo! Now you can order your fish online and, because you'd really rather go to the Strip to pick it up, you can do just that (and save between $15 and $45 on shipping).
  • Wild Purveyors
