Sales of capital assets are reported on the Federal Schedule D for tax purposes. There are many confusing terms related to asset sales and the 1099-B form that Patrick Price, tax specialist with the IRS, will explain in this session. Once you know the basic rules, reporting asset sales is not difficult!
