The new job hunting tools of job boards, online applications, electronic resumes and professional networking sites (LinkedIn and Plaxo) will be discussed. Techniques for creating effective resumes and drafting persuasive cover letters for job seekers over 50 will be given as well as tips for creating an updated, professional image. Information for conducting searches of online job sites, individual company websites and the "hidden" job market will be provided.
