Susan Urbanek Linville is both a biologist and writer. As such, she has published fiction and non-fiction in a variety of venues, including anthologies, journals, newsletters, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias and on-line publications. Her first published book, A School for My Village, is a memoir of Jackson Kaguri, a Ugandan-born US citizen building AIDS orphan schools in Uganda (a nominated CNN hero in 2012). She has also published over a dozen short speculative fiction stories in a variety of magazines. She is presently a science writer for Indiana University's podcast, "A Moment of Science," and lives in New Castle, PA, with her husband and three cats.
