Tutorials for Teaching, Training, and Sharing 2 : Class 2: All things Audio

Thursday, April 17, 2014
5:45 PM - 7:45 PM

Are you ready to jump into video? Do you want to create a tutorial to teach, train, or share something you know? Check out our 3-part series that will take you from planning through basic production of a video tutorial using Audacity and Camtasia Studio. The series will meet April 10, 17, and 24 from 5:45 to 7:45 and include the following classes:
Scripting & Planning: It's fun to jump right in, but with a little planning, and a script, you'll make the best use of your time and end up with a polished video you'll be proud of.

All things Audio: Once you've planned, it's time to record--but how do you get the great audio you need to really impress your viewers? Using Audacity, you'll learn how to record, edit, and export your video narration.

Camtasia: Time to put it all together. We'll cover the basics of Camtasia and set you up to create a simple video tutorial that will get you on your way to video tutorial expertise.

This class will take place in the Job & Career Education Center on the Second Floor of CLP--Main. Please call 412-622-3133 to register.

Note: this class requires strong computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and MS PowerPoint. The All things Audio class is appropriate as a stand-alone course.
