Civics 101 :Who's Suing Who?: The Law and The Courts

This class will review the structure of the judicial system and distinguish between the types of cases that are heard in the federal courts and those heard in the state courts; civil versus criminal cases and what constitutes "standing" and why one has to have it. This session will also present an in-depth look at the Bill of Rights through landmark Supreme Court decisions.
